Why The Traveller's Eye Had to Exist
Back
For more than half a decade, The Invade Show, the brainchild of renowned television presenter, Chidi Edeh and flagship production of Invenclick Media Limited, has pursued one simple mission: to uncover extraordinary beauty wherever it exists. Through its flagship segment, The Home Obsession, the show has travelled across continents in search of remarkable architecture, unforgettable spaces, and the stories that bring them to life.
In many ways, The Traveller's Eye has always been there.
Every home we visited required a journey. Every city had a story beyond its skyline. Every destination offered more than a beautiful building. Somewhere along the way, we realised the journey deserved a story of its own.

That realisation gave birth to The Traveller's Eye, the newest segment of The Invade Show.
But this is more than the launch of another travel programme.
It is the natural evolution of who we have always been.
At Invade, curiosity has never been a marketing slogan. It is our spirit. It is why we call ourselves, and the community that has grown around us, Invaders.
Not because we seek to conquer places, but because we refuse to settle for the surface.
We believe the world is richer than first impressions. We believe every city has stories waiting to be discovered, cultures waiting to be understood, and experiences capable of changing the way we see the world and ourselves. To be an Invader is to ask another question, take another road, and look a little closer.
Today's world moves at an unforgiving pace. Many of us spend so much time chasing tomorrow that we forget to experience today. We inhabit our cities without truly living in them. We scroll endlessly through the adventures of strangers while remarkable experiences exist just beyond our daily routines.
The Traveller's Eye is our invitation to pause.
To rediscover the places we think we already know.
To embrace the unfamiliar without fearing it.
To remember that wonder is often closer than we imagine.
Our first journey takes viewers to a breathtaking dam in Abuja, where nature reminds us that some of the most extraordinary views are hidden in plain sight.
Reflecting on the significance of the inaugural episode, the founder and host of The Invade Show, Chidi shared his hopes for what viewers will take away from the experience:
"For this particular episode, I hope it encourages people to take better care of their health, embrace new discoveries, and learn to travel local. Some of the most remarkable experiences aren't always found thousands of miles away. Sometimes, they're waiting just beyond the places we pass every day."
Future episodes will carry viewers to destinations across Rwanda, New York, and beyond, each one offering a different perspective on the people, places, cultures, and moments that make our world remarkable.
Yet regardless of where we travel, our purpose remains the same.
We do not claim to understand a city better than those who call it home. Instead, we hope to encourage viewers to see every destination with fresh eyes, whether it is a place they have dreamed of visiting or the very city they wake up in every morning.
Because curiosity has the power to change more than our travel plans.
It challenges assumptions. It broadens perspective. It reminds us that there is always more to learn, more to appreciate, and more to imagine.
At Invade, we believe people have the right to question everything, including the thoughts in their own heads. We believe curiosity is one of the defining qualities of being human, and that through discovering the world around us, we often rediscover something within ourselves.
Perhaps that is what The Traveller's Eye is really about.
Not simply travelling farther.
But seeing deeper.
Because when we allow ourselves to become curious again, we give ourselves permission to dream again.
And everyone deserves to dream.
The journey begins with our inaugural episode, premiering on The Invade Show's YouTube channel on Saturday, 8 August 2026 at 6:00 PM (WAT).
Look through The Traveller's Eye as we visit one of Abuja's most breathtaking hidden gems and discover how a single journey can change the way you see the world around you.
Welcome, Invaders.
